The ALERT Call Down Notification System replaces EAPUOC’s former Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Call Down System. Developed in partnership with Alberta One-Call, the notification system informs EAPUOC members, Emergency Services and regulators of an event or emergency that requires the attention or attendance of peer industry representatives within the Capital Region.
The system also shares information that members voluntarily post about their operations. These messages can include, but is not limited to training exercises, operational activities or events that may cause significant disruption. While this service exists, it does not excuse formal notifications required by specific activities, emergencies or regulations.
