Unfortunately, EAPUOC’s 2026 Safety Seminar and Trade Show had to cancelled due to logistic issues. In its place, they hosted it’s first ever very successful “Lunch & Learn Session” at Festival Place in Sherwood Park on April 14th, 2026. GRONK greeted the 55 guests in attendance and two very interesting and informative speeches were presented. The first, delivered was by Reza Dehkord, Process Safety Engineer and PhD Candidate in Chemical Engineering at the U of A, was entitled “Visualizing Incident Patterns in the Hydrogen Value Chair Using AI and Knowledge Graphs to Develop Targeted Control Measures” and the second by Modusser Tufail, Fire Prevention Engineer, Strathcona County Emergency Services was entitled “Hydrogen Safety – Best Practices, Dodes and Standards”.
